Amy's game has been cancelled today due to the rain. It has rained all night so the field conditions for this morning are not good. Bummer! It probably means it will be rescheduled for next Sunday when we were supposed to have a week off and Joe has a game that day too. I will no doubt take Joe and Shaun will go to Amy's game.
Joe had his first game yesterday and it went really well. They tied 3-3 and our little guys played great. All of our teams goals were scored by a girl we have on our team who's really good. Joe had a shot on goal but it went just wide. He did good though. Here's a pic of him in action.
So, what will we do today now that our plans have drastically changed? I may just get some stuff done around here that I otherwise wouldn't have gotten to. I would like to get some stuff out of the garage taken to the dump if nothing else and at least clear a little bit of space in there so we can fill it up again ;-) It is too wet to do anything outside and our yard hasn't had any grass put down yet so it's still really muddy from Shaun digging a few weekends ago. He dug the trenches out yesterday ready for the concrete footers for the retaining wall. Hopefully we can get the concrete poured soon and then put down the grass and have it all looking nice.

We just got back from church and lunch, and it's a lovely sunny day, 80! We'll be pottering around in the yard and probably planting out some plants.
