I decided to switch over to blogger so I can add more photos to daily posts and also hopefully keep better track of who, if anyone, reads my blog.
So, what have we all been up to? Well over the weekend Joe had a basketball game on Saturday morning and Amy had a soccer game on Sunday. Both of them played well. Joe scored 4 baskets in his game and Amy scored 2 goals! This weekend Joe has a basketball game once again and then his team party afterwards at a local pizza place. Amy has her last indoor game for this winter season and then we are switching to outside ready for the Spring season. I hope it warms up quickly!!!!!
I have been at home much of this week just pottering around and trying to get the house in order. On Monday I had allergy testing done after putting it off for about 2 years! I'm not sure why I waited so long. Any how, I'm highly allergic to house dust, mold and mildew and I had reactions to pollens and dogs too but not as bad. I will start allergy shots in the next week or so and hopefully that will do the trick. So, following on from that I'm trying to eliminate the dust! As soon as I start to vacuum or dust though I start to sneeze and it's hard to stop. I've dusted upstairs today and then vacuumed and my throat is really hurting now. I really need to keep on top of it. The Dr said to me "next time the house needs vacuuming just go out and shop instead then you won't react to it!" Smart man!!!! Unfortunately with the amount of dog hair Spud sheds there's no fear of being able to do that.
After cleaning this morning I went to pick up Joe from preschool and then a group of the Moms and kids went to McDonald's. I'm not sure why we hadn't thought of doing it before - especially with it being so cold outside. The kids had a great time and the Moms did too! It's a very nice group and Joe loves his friends. They were VERY loud but it was just what they needed. We'll definitely do it again and hopefully soon.
Well, dinner is calling and I really need to make a start or everyone will be whining about how hungry they are! Enjoy your day!

When I found out I was allergic to dust and dustmites we bought a Hepa filter, and Jason vacuumed for me - ha, yeah that didn't last too long though. I hardly notice now, but then I am on Advair and Flonase so my meds definitely help.
Hope you feel some relief soon too. How long does the shot last?
